The Newport Bakery is an artisan bakery with stores in Newport-On-Tay, Dundee, St Andrews and Arbroath from Chef Jamie Scott. Originally starting as a pop-up running from our sister company, The Newport Restaurant, for almost two years, it soon flourished into a little shop at the top of Newport, High Street & soon after Dundee, Westport.
Our talented bakers are at the heart of our business. They hand-make all our products each morning, ensuring the highest quality and freshness daily. Our focus is on Danish style pastries, viennoiserie and long-proven sourdough.
Throughout the shops, we have a wide selection of local, independent suppliers & products. We offer a fruit & veg exchange throughout the seasons. In return, we pay for pastries. We aim to ensure zero waste is met where ever possible in our offering.
In Newport, Dundee, St Andrews & Arbroath, we offer barista coffee using Sacred Grounds, a speciality roastery based in Arbroath. Our aim is to ensure the quality of coffee is perfectly paired with our pastries.
